Unilever: Managed production of countertop displays from start-to-finish: designed display, sourced producers, managed production and delivery; managed production from start-to-finish for the production of tea canisters: designed canister, sourced producers, managed production and delivery.

UNICEF: Managed the design and production of a series of annual reports, brochures, and posters for UNICEF Iran.

Dutch Embassy: Managed several projects including design, printing, and translation of brochures; designed and project managed two exhibitions, Rembrandt in Iran and Water & amp; Sanitation show.

Canadian Embassy: Designed and managed exhibit for the Oil and Gas show; designed printed materials.

Senior Designer/Art Director: Siebel Systems

(Siebel was the third fastest business software growing company in the United States. It specializes in e-business software for front-end operations such as customer relationship management and sales force management.)

Joined company as the first senior designer. Helped build the creative services department. Researched and purchased the equipment for the department; managed vendor relationships; established communication ties with other departments; developed communication standards. Developed and art directed various projects including the redesign of the website look and feel, corporate identity, environmental graphics, and business collateral. Managed internal clients, supervised free-lance designers and artists and trained new designers.

Major projects included:
Look and feel for company’s largest event, User Week, a one-week event for Siebel’s partners and affiliates

  • Design of e-business Solutions Map and White Paper, the most ambitious and influential sales tools after the annual report.
  • Development of intranet-based archiving system for domestic and international divisions. The archive consisted of all of marketing materials and the image bank
  • Research for manufacturing and branding of packaging materials
  • Design of packages with 19 different pieces and 5 different boxes for Siebel 2000 products
  • Supervision and art direction of redesign of Siebel magazine
  • Supervision of major photo shoot of all executives for use in Siebel magazine and for other marketing needs

Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director: Siemens AG (Business Communications, Santa Clara, California)
Created solutions and strategies for all corporate design, including collateral, direct mail, brochures, folders, posters, data sheets, trade shows graphics, and other promotional materials. Developed all design concepts for sales and marketing.

Major projects include:

  • Created intranet based image bank to better organize more than 4000 photos for use by different departments, resulting in major cost savings by reducing duplication of efforts.
  • Designed fact book that effectively and efficiently organized information concerning services and offices of Siemens.

Various design and photography work

Managed design projects from concept to production, worked with clients, pre-press service bureaus, and printers. Helped establish new clients. Space, exhibition, and print design. Projects included:

  • The Cooper Union: exhibition, presentation, and brochure design
  • The New York City Transit Museum: exhibit design and program management
  • The San Jose Symphony: look and feel plus design for annual gala
  • DHL Worldwide Express: brochure design
  • The Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo: look and feel for new logo and signage (logo won the California award for best logo and was featured in a 4-page spread in the Land’s End corporate catalogue); look and feel for exhibits; and invitation and brochure design
